Preparing the next generation of singers

The Master Chorale Youth Choir provides a professionally directed environment for high school musicians to study, prepare, and perform choral music. We serve the Triangle community by providing high quality performances, complementing school music programs, and encouraging and advocating the arts, music, and music education.

“It has been an incredible experience working through difficult music to achieve performances and skills I never thought possible. I had a wonderful experience making music with people who had as much passion for it as me.”

Raine Tillotson, Athens Drive HS

“I love how each of our songs had some deeper message behind them like raising awareness from the hurricane situation and homelessness. I feel like music is so impactful but adding this extra layer of meaning behind it is something that differentiates this choir from any of the other choirs I have been part of it in the past.”

“The choir has made me feel like I can truly be a part of something. Something that can be so amazing and meaningful when put together.”

“I remember sitting in my room after a performance and realizing how interconnected we all are to the story of humanity. The time I spent reflecting on that concert helped me realize the intrinsic value of everyone and especially group arts like chorus, as we all contribute towards an art piece with our individual voices and the untold but present stories behind forming those voices.”

Prithu Neog, Enloe HS

Youth Choir is hosted by North Carolina State University.
