Monthly Giving
The Master Chorale's monthly giving program is a convenient and affordable way to express your passion for great choral music and meaningful community impact. By making a recurring monthly gift, you contribute to making the Master Chorale a sustainable and ground-breaking organization, both onstage and off. Your monthly gift will continue automatically until you ask us to stop.
IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER
The IRA Charitable Rollover provision allows individuals who have reached 70 ½ to donate up to $100,000 to charitable organizations directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) without treating the distribution as taxable income. You may give the funds directly to a charity, like the Master Chorale. Such gifts count against the account holder’s required minimum distribution, helping the owner reduce income and taxes owed.
Gifts of Stock
If you have appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares, you may want to give them rather than a cash gift. The Master Chorale has an account with Schwab to handle this type of gift. Check with your financial advisor regarding potential benefits to you for this type of gift.
Matching Gifts
Many companies will match their employee's donations, some match 100% of the gift made and others less. There are also companies that will donate money for your volunteer hours. Contact your employer and see if they offer matching gifts.
SECC
North Carolina Master Chorale participates in the State Employees Combined Campaign. Employees of the State of North Carolina may contribute to the Master Chorale via payroll deduction. If you are a State employee, please designate #3543 for the North Carolina Master Chorale to receive your gift.
