O Fortuna! One of the most popular classical works of all time finally receives its Meymandi Concert Hall premiere. The 170 voices of the Chorale and the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra unite under the direction of Alfred Sturgis to introduce the power of Carl Orff’s theatrical tableau to Raleigh’s foremost classical music performance space. Also on the program: Tchaikovsky’s symphonic fantasy Francesca da Rimini.
