What should I wear?

Attire of Master Chorale patrons varies from jeans to business suits, with a majority of patrons falling into the ‘business casual’ style of dress.

How long is the concert?

Our programs run from ~75 minutes to ~2.5 hours depending upon the repertoire. We generally add this information to the concert’s specific webpage about one month prior to a performance to aid our patrons in their planning.

How early should I arrive?

Doors open 30-45 minutes prior to each performance for seating. The box office at the venue opens 45-60 minutes prior to each concert. Seating in the Duke Energy Center is assigned/reserved. At other venues, seating is general admission: first come, first serve.

How is reserved seating in Meymandi Concert Hall arranged?

Tickets numbered 100-139 are on the orchestra level. Tickets numbered 200-239 are on the Lower Balcony Level. Tickets numbered 300-339 are on the Upper Balcony Level. When seated, lower numbered seats are to the right with higher numbers to the left.

Is there reserved seating for general admission concerts?

Up to two rows are set aside as block reserved seating for Master Chorale donors of $100 or more. If, in the last 15 months, you have contributed $100 or more to NCMC, you are eligible for this block reserved seating at general admission seating concerts. Please call the office to take advantage of, or learn more about, this service.

What do I do if I cannot use my tickets?

One option: Give them to a friend! Another option: You can receive a tax receipt by turning them in to the NCMC office no later than noon two days prior to a concert. Tickets may also be torn and a scan of the tickets faxed or emailed to the Master Chorale: (919) 856-9700 or info@ncmasterchorale.org.

Can I get a refund for or exchange my tickets?

NCMC has a no refund policy for tickets. Should you find you will be unable to attend a performance, NCMC subscribers may exchange tickets for alternate subscription performances in the same season. Patrons need only pay the difference in price if the concert to which you are exchanging is more expensive. Tickets must be exchanged at least two business days prior to the date of the scheduled performance for which you already have tickets.

Are the performance venues accessible?

All venues are handicap accessible with designated handicap parking available. Patrons with special needs, or with any questions about accessibility, should call the NCMC office at (919) 856-9700 for assistance. For further information, please consult the Chorale’s accessibility plan.

Who is your ticketing provider?

The Master Chorale’s ticketing provider is SeatAdvisor, based in San Diego, CA.
