Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem

Sunday, January 29 at 3:00pm

Relish the beauty of Johannes Brahms beautiful Requiem, a favorite of both singers and audience. Brahms’ work is unique: the composer chose the text himself in order to create a Requiem which addresses the living rather than the departed. Brahms’ text preaches a message of comfort to those who are left to mourn. Our performance features the Chorale, soloists, and 50-piece symphony orchestra.

Soloists for this concert: soprano Marlissa Hudson and baritone Gerard Sundberg.
